Hi Its Jeff here bringing you something
different for you guys.
By different, I really mean Chinese food. The store itself is not
really a restaurant as there are no seats or waiters but instead is a
small section of a meat stall staffed by one person. Despite this, I
have made it a daily ritual to buy lunch from it. I can drone about it
forever but it would be meaningless if there weren't any pictures so
here:
As
you can see from the picture there are two kinds of meat and a small
helping of vegetables. For this particular one, I made had a combination
of Char Siu (barbecued pork) and roasted duck meat. The meat is placed
on top of a large portion of rice flavored with a special soy sauce.
Aside from pork and duck, other choices are available such as chicken,
sausage and generally whatever the butcher has in stock that day. I
ordered takeout so it came it a plastic box but if you choose to eat
onsite, then a biodegradable cardboard tray is used. Both delicious and
environmentally friendly! (Except for the animals that were
slaughtered).
Aside from this lunch set, there is a assortment of traditional Chinese "snack" dishes available known as Dimsum for a modest price of $5. The cost of this lunch set is 10.80. While it may be on the expensive side among takeouts, it is extremely filling and can probably keep you feeling full for both lunch and dinner.
